To open an Airtel Payments Bank account, you can either do it online through the Airtel Thanks app or offline at an Airtel retail outlet. You'll need your Aadhaar card and PAN card for the process. Online, you'll use the app to enter your details, complete KYC, set up an MPIN, and verify your identity. Offline, you'll visit an Airtel Banking Point, fill out an application, submit documents, and complete biometric verification. 

Online Method:

Get the Airtel Thanks app here: Get the Airtel Thanks app from the app store if you don't already have it.

1. Register: Launch the app, then enter your Airtel mobile number to register
   
   
2. Begin the process of creating an account: To start the process, go to the "Manage Page" and select the "Money" tab.
   
   
3. Send in the information: Give your Aadhaar number and PAN.
   
   
4. KYC confirmation: To download your KYC information from CKYC and confirm your location and identity, follow the instructions.
   
   
5. Required load: Use UPI to finish a required money load in accordance with RBI regulations.
   
   
6. Account activation: Your account will be activated upon a successful payment.
   
   
7. Configure the MPIN: To safely access your account, set up your MPIN.

Offline Method:

 

1. Check out an Airtel banking location: Find the Airtel shop or banking location that is closest to you.
   
   
2. Give documents: Keep your passport-sized photos, Aadhaar card, and PAN card with you.
   
   
3. Complete the following form: Get the application form from the bank representative and fill it out.
   
   
4. Send in and confirm: Fill out the biometric verification process and submit the form with your supporting documentation.
   
   
5. Account activation: Following verification, your account will be activated.
