Card of Rationing: Ration card holders have big news. The e-KYC and Aadhaar seeding dates have been extended until June 30. Its last deadline was April 30th, and only roughly 65% of the district's population was able to complete e-KYC. With the date extension, there is now hope for the remaining cards to undergo eKYC.
On the other hand, network issues are the main obstacle to completing eKYC for ration cards in the rural parts of West Singhbhum district. Ration card eKYC was not being completed in the district's rural and remote locations due to a lack of mobile network. The administration hasn't taken any action in that regard.
Ration card holders have received significant relief from the Uttar Pradesh government. The ration card KYC deadline has been moved to June 30. This deadline was previously set for April 30. The 77 ration stores of Zone-5 are situated in Naini, Prayagraj. After the city limits were expanded, 48 more stores were added. There are 38,661 Antyodaya card holders and eligible households in this zone. Sanjay Kumar, the regional food officer, reports that 80.17 percent of cardholders have had their KYC completed thus far.
Eligible household cardholders receive a free 5-kilogram ration per unit from the government under the National Food Security Act. Each Antyodaya card member receives a complimentary 17 kg of wheat, 13 kg of rice, and 5 kg of millet. The government has mandated that all ration dealers complete the KYC of any cardholder who purchases rations from them. The purpose of this action is to make the distribution of rations more transparent.
